Biography
Ryan Ellis is a Christian singer-songwriter and producer from Southern California. His music is infused with electronic, gospel, and home-style spontaneous worship sounds.
Born in San Diego California, Ryan’s passion for music came at a young age. Growing up Ryan performed in musicals and was an original member of the hip-hop team Jabbawockeez. After High School Ryan served in the United States Navy and served 5 years and served a tour in Afghanistan.
After the military Ryan served as the Upper Room Worship pastor for Isla Vista Church and was apart of IV Worship Ryan helped in the formations of some amazing movements and communities in Orange County like “Gospel House” and “OC Worship Nights.
Ryan has released two personal albums under Isla Vista Worship, “Kingdom Glory” and “Live from the Upper Room”. He was also featured on self-titled “Isla Vista Worship Album”. He is the writer for Chris Tomlin’s newest single “Resurrection Power”
As an artist, Ryan strives to create songs that combine Spirit-filled worship with funky dance beats. He currently lives in Orange County with his wife Cassie and his 2 boys Koa and Asa.
No matter what the setting is for worship, Ryan’s passion is creating a space for God’s presence to move and bring breakthrough.
